YeeHaw! Chisholm Trail OK-KS Cattle Drive

To commemorate the 150th year off the Chisholm Trail, approx 125 cattle will be driven on the old Chisholm Trail route, departing Pond Creek, Ok on Sept 12th and arriving at the End-of-Trail celebration south of Wichita, Ks Sept 23. Cow camps open to the public every day along the route.
September 16th Caldwell's Activities include
8-1pm Farm & Art Market at Heritage Park
9:00 Talking Tombstones perform at City Cemetery
10:30am 125 Longhorn Cattle Parade!
11:00 Cow Pie Bingo - place your bets on the street!
11:00 Gunfight/Dance Hall Girls Show
11:30 am Book Signing "Chisholm Trail Pony" at Library
11am-11pm Czech Beer Garden & Lawn Games
12 noon: Food trucks & Kids games
1pm Opera House Ks Humanities Speaker, Jim Gray
2pm Muttin Bustin & Sheep Dressing Contests
3pm Talking Tombstones perform at City Cemetery
3-6pm Cow Camp open to the public - please visit!
4-8pm: MUSIC FEST, Beef Eating Event, Tasting Parlour at Chisholm & 1st Ave featuring local musicians with beer garden and Kansas-based tasting parlour of breweries, wineries, & distilleries.
GRAND FINALE: 8pm: Del Shields in concert at Caldwell Community Bldg $5 BYOB
