Sour Dough Biscuits, Chisholm Trail, and a Christmas Card from the East

The Caldwell Chamber of Commerce received a heartfelt Chistmas card in the mail from a wonderful couple that visited for the 150th Chisholm Trail Cattle Drive in September of 2017.  We love that they enjoyed our little slice of Paradise as much as we do!  Below you will be able to read their letter enclosed in the card.

To Caldwell Chamber of Commerce and Residents of Caldwell,

This past September my wife Murial and I were in Caldwell to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Chisholm Trail.  We spent some time at the "Cow Camp" and met some wonderful people and made some new friends, Murial even learned how to make sour dough biscuits.  Had an excellent breakfast at the Red Barn.

We would like to thank all of you for your wonderful kindness and hospitality while in Caldwell.

If you want to see the "Real America" and meet some wonderful people come to Caldwell, Kansas you won't be disappointed.

Thank you for some wonderful memories that we will cherish always.

Most sincerely,

Ron & Murial Clossin
