The
Caldwell school system serves a 94 square mile area in
southwestern Sumner county. All attendance centers are located
in Caldwell. The district is unique in that it maintains no
regular bus transportation routes; instead, the parents are paid
to provide transportation. Special education services are
provided at the Caldwell Schools through Sumner County Education
Services Interlocal, District #619. Low student to teacher
ratios and the latest in technology provide a wonderful learning
environment for students.
Caldwell is also a member of the South Central Kansas Education
Network which provides high school (and college) course
offerings through a two-way interactive fiber-optic system.
